Looking Good from Every Angle

Saturday the guys continued working on the game room ceiling.
Dad had some business to attend to during part of the day, so Jason took a break and went to pick up his pride and joy from Uncle Pedro's where it just got a new coat of paint! Looks brand new to me!

Then it was back to work...

This is how it looked at the end of the day Saturday.

Sunday was another day of progress.

We had lunch at our new table. Yep, we are moving on up. Lap tables (boards), to the picnic table, to a fancy dining experience complete with table cloth.

Then it was more ceiling work.

Boy, were us girls glad it was nice outside. We really enjoyed working in the warm sun and away from all of dad's banging the tin straight.

I guess the guys ran out of time for my suggestion of adding this wooden timber for the trim down the middle where the tin meets...actually dad's words were "Get that crooked piece of junk out of the way." I still think it's a good looking idea, but I am thinking of other options that will hopefully have a better end result.

And here is the end of the day Sunday.

Monday the guys unloaded materials for the den and gym ceilings. Just maybe we will have some Tuesday evening productivity!!
