Summer Series:Vacation

Time to go on a little trip!

 "What is my monkey seat doing back here?" 

Mountains of clay

And mountains of candy to make the ride bearable.

A quick stop for lunch.

We made it!

You know my dad can't go anywhere without working just a little.

And feeling right at home dragging everything out of the closet.

Visiting the owner and her pets.

What a beautiful place.

The cottage was perfect and full of special touches.

Loved the screened porch and spent lots of time out there.

Visit to the park

Little pond at the place we were staying.

Breakfast was served.

Because we had a little one with us, the owners let us borrow their golf cart for the trails on the place.

Of course, this was right up our alley.

And she was not letting go!

And then all of a sudden, she threw it in the pond.

And we walked away briskly to help her forget what she had just done...after the poor thing swam off.

We looked around everywhere and finally found this extra tall blanket on the bed.

No trip is complete without a little junkin'.

And tractor buying.

And fish kissin'.

I am pretty sure the decorations had not received quite as much attention from prior guests.

And you  know me, always trying to find a way to make a little money to help pay for the trip!

Time to drive home.

She sure did miss her cat.

And Bee Angels sold out of the wheat bushels in no time!

What a wonderful family vacation full of memories we had.
