Saturday the guys started the day by drilling a few holes in the house and installing these safety turn off panels. I gave the laundry cabinet interior another coat of paint and then added closures (pictured) to certain areas of the house. This will keep the spray foam insulation from seeping out and making a mess of all of our exterior hard work!
This was a fun project :)Jason and dad worked on the wiring for the kitchen. The big black one is for the range.
Mom and I worked on the door for the master bedroom. Just look at the beautiful, blue, clear sky!
Installing the box for the light over the kitchen sink.
Having another kitchen discussion and deciding on the size of the island.
Then it was time to pull some of the wires through another hole in our house. Jason was the lucky one to make a trip up the roof.
Dad was the other lucky one who assisted the process from inside the house with mom's assistance.
Time to figure out how to get down...humm...
Thank goodness, dad had a plan!
Returned back to me in one piece! Thank you!
Saturday was such a beautiful day...which helped entice several visitors. After being cooped up after numerous rainy days, people were ready to get out! Mom and I attempted to count our friendly visitors at the end of the day. It was hilarious. About every 30 minutes a new vehicle or person walked up the drive. Despite (at least) ten visitors on Saturday, we had a very productive day!
