Upstairs Moving on Up!
So we FINALLY got around to getting our upstairs area somewhat together.
Though I am glad we did not rush into just putting a bunch of stuff here and there because I feel like by procrastinating waiting we ended up with a much more usable space then we ever could have figured out when we first moved in.
The farm table and chairs received a makeover after we figure out the color scheme we were going with.
Perfect for dominoes, puzzles, or laying out house plans.
Jason built the entertainment center from scratch. Like just a pile of boards! He is really good with woodworking.
Lily's special place to help Daddy with his office work.
We found this little desk at a garage sale a long time ago for $3!
The hutch we got from Jason's mom also received a makeover.
Barn tin was added for concealed storage.
The couch and chair were bought at Restore.
Ashley Furniture donated items from their warehouse so we were super excited to get new furniture for a great price and help out Habitat for Humanity at the same time.
A better look at the entertainment center.
A little guitar playing section.
Jason built and finished the guitar on the left.
Now he just has to learn to play it :)
I did not end up with a very good picture of it, but the stool for Jason's desk was also part of the Restore/Ashley furniture buying trip.
Jason's fishing paraphernalia
My office also received some attention.
Jason built me this big work table for my Bee Angels crafting.
He added shelves to my Grandpa's Apple Box to store cloth and his Tire Fix box makes good twine storage.
I love having this big area to work on stuff...and leave it upstairs out of sight when I do not have time to finish.
Lily also has her work area.
But as we all know, hard work makes anyone hungry so mostly it's been used as a snack table.
Yep, she is definitely the boss around here.
Case closed.
