Only Thing Missing Is A Lily

The baby shower post should come before this one, but it looks like it will be a tad more lengthy and so the mommy-to-be gets to bed at a better hour than the previous nights, this post made more sense. I know, I know.  I am supposed to be getting rest.  And tonight is the night.

Lily's room is shaping up.  The main thing we need now is Lily.  We are past the two week mark until our due date so any day now our family will be expanding and hopefully mommy will start shrinking :)   I will add that pregnancy has not been bad for me.  I am very thankful for that.

Many preparations have been made over the last few months.
As you can begin to see, we loaded up on goodies at the baby shower thanks to our wonderful family and friends.
The storage caddy and tricycle were both garage sale finds we could not pass up at $10 each.  Our fourth grade teacher sewed the "Jesus Loves the Little Children" picture.  It's perfect.  The sweet cross is from Mr. Welder's brother's family.
This little hoodie once said "Marie" until Grandma added "Lily".

The diaper pail is an old water cooler I scored at Canton.
A basket of toys and a princess piggy bank from Aunt Heather and Uncle Johnnie.
The doll was Lily's Aunt Mel's when she was a little girl and the blanket and pillow were handmade by Lily's Grammie.  The elephant was a baby shower decoration, which was really cute so I promise to post about it one of these days.

Another shower decoration that now decorates Lily's room.

The quilt was handmade by Grammie.  The pink blanket was crocheted by a sweet friend and Aunt Heather had the polka dot blanket personalized.

So much thought and kindness has been given.  We truly are blessed.  Now we pray and wait for a safe, healthy delivery of our little girl.
(A sneak peek from a future fishing post)
I had a talk with this stork and tried to make a deal of flying Lily in, but apparently it doesn't really work that way.  Any extra prayers you can send our way are appreciated :)
