Summer Series: Baby Welder Turns Two

Our little one turned two in June.
Her aunt did all the desserts again this year.
Lily's special cupcake
Everything was perfectly cute.
Her granny got together the decorations
And party favors.
Lily heard Birthday Suit and started stripping.
She thought nude was much better for the weather.
We got a swim suit on just in time for her first little guest.
She got to open his present early since it was lots of fun stuff to play with in the water.

Grandpa cooked some delicious garden potato fries and squash.

Granny cut up tons of garden cucumbers, tomatoes and onions.
And Daddy cooked burgers and hot dogs on the grill.

Baby Cousin took a nap.
While the rest of the guests chowed down.

So blessed to have so many family and friends attend.
Then it was time for a little more water fun.

And swinging.
Before it was time to open gifts!
Oh and have some candy.

Lucky to have some helpers to open the gifts.

Before she decided that she really still likes her old toys best.
Though the new ones were pretty fun too.
Sweet flowers and animal from her cousin.
Lots of girly gifts and lots of boy helpers.
And more candy of course!
After knocking Lily's special cupcake off the stand,
We posed for a little family pic.
But who is interested in taking a pic, when there is more candy to be had?!
Oh and car seats to play in.
The candy was working and Lily was climbing the walls.
(As if she needs candy to do this.)
A little cake.
A little sugar.
And more candy.
And a sweet bye bye to Grammie and Grandpa in their cool car.
A few more bday related pics.
A visit to El Chico the night before.
Lily loved the spinach cheese dip.
A big breakfast.
And a little chocolate syrup.
After the guests departed, it was time to check out her new clothes.
Yes, my daughter is still weird and likes clothes for gifts unlike most kids.
Tried a few on.
Got stuck in one pant leg.
And then decided it was time to rock out with her new guitar.
(This was a different night-we did not party all night!)

New books
Jewelry boxes with dancing dolls.
Tons of cute clothes that look good even with messy hair and boots on the wrong feet.

Special gift from her Great Granny.
Bedtime prayer that was in her granny's and two aunt's rooms when they were kids.
A special handmade dress from her Grammie.

A couple babies.

And lots of things to love.
I can't believe Lily is already two.
She is such my little helper and best friend.
