I Love Junk

It's been a nice break from the everyday schedule.  I think I could get used to two-day work weeks...
A trip to Canton provided a full day of treasure hunting.
While Mr. Welder had his eye (and his body-he took a test drive) on this bike,
The gals had the most fun digging through $1 and 50 cent tables and also stumbled across many materials for Bee Angels, Bee Handmade goodies.
We were reminded that it's never a good idea to store chocolates in your purse.
And were amazed and curious about this sight on our way home.
Progress has been happening on the shop.  Mr. Welder welded (imagine that) the truss that will be situated between these two poles that were set in concrete and will eventually support an awning.
After a short-lived bike ride, (my sister had a blow-out and Mr. Welder had to come to the rescue), we put some of the treasures to use and spiffied up more books for Bee Angels.  I plan to take a back seat full of stuff to the shop during lunch on Monday, but if you want a sneak peek of some of the goodies, click here.
It's back to the daily grind, but it was fun while it lasted...now if we'd just find time to sit down and plan a small vacation...what do you all have planned for this summer?
