Monday night, the shutters were put up!
Jason used a special drill bit to make the holes in the rock.
Jason pre-drilled the holes in the shutters. After getting them in place, he used the holes as a guide to drill the holes in the rock.
Dad hammered in the plastic anchors, which helped secure the screws.

And all the shutters were up!
Jason and dad did a little snake hunting before leaving. The Welding Wife and Daisy did not participate.
Two victims...I did not want to post these, but Jason likes to brag to his friends :) I apologize for the gory and nastiness.
Today our second garage door should be installed. Tonight we have a dinner to attend so will not be visiting the Weld House. We will actually not be out there until Saturday-boo! Wednesday we are going to dinner for the Welding Wife's dad's birthday (though his actual birthday is on Thursday), and Thursday we will be setting up for a garage sale we are having on Friday and Saturday. The Welding Wife took off work to help on Friday but will be at the Weld House on Saturday...she does not have much in the sale anyways. So...you may get a break from posts for a few days. But for sure come back next week. We will have progress this weekend!
