When we returned from our relaxing vacation, it was time to get back to work. We decided to get up early and beat the heat to finish cleaning up the rock mess.
Thank goodness for dad's work earlier that week...sure did make things go quicker.

Next, we worked on this big mountain in the front.
And then the left side.
The back was the biggest challenge. Dad did not make it this far the other day, so we did the racking and all in this section. Not to mention now we were in the hot sun! Though it was lunch time (quitting time), we were almost finished so kept on going...boy was my stomach growling!
I bet this guy's was too!
And Daisy's too from all of her exertion :)
This was the pile of rock we had left over...hopefully we can use this for another project...besides a snake house.
We dumped all the scraps in this low area in front of the garage doors. We will eventually cover it with gravel for our driveway.

Before we left, Jason unloaded our picnic table. We thought we might get more use of it at The Weld House since we do most of our outside dining here.
This is one heavy table!
He situated it under a big tree in the backyard. Maybe we will have another BBQ soon and test it out...but not today. It was way past time to go home, sit in the A/C, and have lunch. Glad that project is crossed off the list!
