A Trip for Six Little Ol' Boards

Thursday evening we took a trip to a barn you may recognize from past posts. Can you guess what project we had in mind?
The cows kept a close eye on what was going on.
And the demolition began.
And a little cleaning inside.
Daisy had a blast snooping in all the old barns around the place.
Here we are hunting in the back section of the same barn.
And a few pieces from the other side.
Then it was time to replenish our lumber yard at the Weld House.
Think I got one too many...oh, and we bought these shiny new boards-they did not come from the barn! They were just on the trailer to be unloaded along with 20 sheets of plywood and three sheets of sheet rock. Yep, we have lots to accomplish!
So a trip that started out to only get about six boards (to complete the master bath ceiling-if you could not guess) ended up being a tad bit more. We hope to soon go back and finish tearing down the barn and clean up the mess. We felt like we won the lottery when we realized that the wood was in pretty good shape and dreamed of all the different projects we would be able to complete! Thanks to the generous soul who allowed us to partake in this treasure hunt.
