A Time to Celebrate
Thursday the Welders celebrated four years of blissful married life. During their lunch break, Mr. Welder surprised Mrs. Welder with a trip to her favorite greenhouse. Everywhere you looked it was gorgeous and the fall scenes were icing on the cake. Don't you just love this time of year?

Nature's Beauty
I noticed a yellow butterfly on this bush and as I was trying to get a picture, I realized it was a pomegranate tree. Mom and dad gave me one of these for my birthday a couple years ago, but mine is not quite to this point, or even close. It was really neat though, so I hope it gets there one day.
After arriving home from the workday, we popped the chicken pot pie from Jason's parents in the oven while we relaxed. I was surprised when I lifted the foil and found the hidden message.
Yep, we ate the entire thing! Us Welders can eat. I also ate some of the lemon pie afterwards. It was all so delicious.
Though it seemed like the night wasn't so young anymore and that we would just take the evening off, we couldn't help ourselves. We delivered the greenhouse purchases to the Weld House.
We discovered we could hang the baskets directly from the trim. Handy and versatile. Not so committing as installing a hook. This works great for someone who changes her mind so much.
"Geez, are we really going to work again tonight?" said Miss StairmasterI took a break from cleaning wood and took dad's spot measuring and laying out the rows...and went cross eyed from trying to read the tape measure.
We moved right along. Only had about 5 pieces to go...
When Mr. Welder decided he needed to make an adjustment to the floor jack. This resulted in cutting a piece of angle iron.
And welding
But we ended up with a much improved jack.
And we made it to the wall! We do still have two pieces to finish in front of the door (it jets in a little there) before moving on to the bathroom and art room and then the office. Mr. Welder will do something special here so decided 11:30 at night was not the time to figure that out. Thanks for a wonderful anniversary, Mr. Welder, my best teammate.
