Look at that Rock!

The rockers started yesterday! Our metal building is being transformed into a country cottage :) And more rock was delivered. After we stared at the rock for a while, dad and Jason worked on mini slabs for the rock columns to be built.
Jason cut the rebar and dad hammered the pieces into place.
Mom and I worked on giving the door frame a thin coat...ugh spray painting is not my thing!
Next Jason wired the rebar into a grid.
Ready for the mini slab to be poured.
Jonathan mixed the cement for the next mini slab.
Jason went to turn on the water and kicked this snake. Thank goodness it was not an aggressive snake!
Jason "touched up" the door frame with a little wind block.
Then it was time to go home...but we had to wrestle one more snake before calling it a night. Lynley, Jonathan, and Peyton left and walked right through the area this snake was just minutes before my mom and dad walked through. Jason was moving the light when mom spotted this Copperhead. We are so grateful no one got hurt! I am thinking we may see a dramatic drop in tour ticket sales after all the snake incidents! After a long night of snake dreams, Jason has been researching how we can get rid of all of this! We do not like it one bit.
The rockers are hard at work again today. Hopefully I will just have some nice rock pictures to share tomorrow and NO MORE SNAKES!
