Door, Re, Me

Monday evening, the Welders got components lined up for several doors. First, the doors were measured and squared.
Then the trippers were removed and the door openings were cleaned of oversprayed sheetrock texture.
The next steps took place in the wood shop. The cedar boards were cleaned with a blower. Then they were ripped to the correct thickness.
The lengths were cut.
And then the boards were planed.
At the end of the night we had several doors ready for the next steps: framing, hinging, installing, and shimming. Having all the boards cut and planed will save tons of time the next time we install.
Good night, Weld House.
