No Mo Flo

Wednesday ended up being cold and rainy again. Tuesday we left Daisy at home since she was wet and muddy and did not want her walking on the new floor. She was nice and dry in her house when we got home Wednesday, so we decided we could not break her heart and leave her again. After patiently waiting in the truck while we had dinner at mom's and also while we did our Wednesday night volunteering, Mr. Welder carried her to the Weld House to assure she did not run off to check out things in the mud. Yes, we are those weird dog people.
What is crazy about this picture?! Yep, you are seeing things correctly. Due to the rainy weather, dad did not work at his real job, so he came and finished the den floor all by himself! Wow, we were happy. Thanks, dad.
And Daisy thought Grandpa did it all for her.
Excited that we only had one more kid's bedroom to floor, we cleaned and got started laying the black mat.
Mom and dad arrived shortly, and mom and I worked on patching together scrap pieces to avoid opening another whole role for the last small section. So now hopefully I get to take back the roll we did not use and exchange it for a special mop recommended for our type floor.
The guys notched and got things started around the closet door while I stood on the board to hold it in place.
Daisy decided cardboard was more comfortable than our new floors. And it must have been really comfortable according to how loud she was snoring.
We moved right along.
Last piece in the room...one small closet left.
The room
And finished! Mrs. Welder loves her floor team.
