Welcome to Our Barn

One weekend, we decided to take a guy Jason knows up on an offer to tear down a barn and in return we could keep the wood and materials. It was really hard work, especially in the Texas heat, but also quite gratifying.


We took off the boards and tin by hand and then Jason used his tractor to tear down the frame.

We had a trailer load of materials...some to burn and some that we stacked in the back corner of our land in hopes that we can use it in our house one day. I am not a big fan of RED...so we will see :) Either way, it was definitely an experience I will never forget!
