Trim Time
(Jason was picking on me taking my picture instead of getting to work!)
And Tedious Trim clipping

And Trim Turning
(after cutting the trim to the correct length, Jason used these fancy flat pliers (these probably have a fancy name...) to bend and fold the metal over.)

(Jason used a rubber mallet to get it just right.)
Next, came rock Trimming on the back of the house.
We also had a Trim lesson. Professor Jason explained that this trim actually serves more of a purpose than meets the eye. When the rock is put on, it will go up to the trim instead of the soffet. This keeps the mortar in a solid line instead of going up in the soffet creases, which makes the mortar more likely to crack and fall out.
